Yesterday afternoon, crews from our department and multiple surrounding departments operated on a brush fire in Ripley. The fire consumed approximately 3 acres of brush.

Later in the evening, crews responded to a trailer fire on Stump Neck Road. Engine 21-1 (NDW Stump Neck) arrived to find a small travel trailer well involved in fire. Crews from 21-1, Engine 8-3, and Truck 20 (NDW Indian Head) operated for approximately 30 minutes. No injuries were reported.
