Just after midnight this morning, Rescue Squad 8 and Tanker 8 were alerted to a house fire in the 6400 block of Valley Road in Company 1’s first due. First arriving units from LaPlata found a single family dwelling with fire through the roof. Rescue Squad 8’s crew performed searches, provided lighting, and assisted with overhaul. Tanker 8 was not utilized.
