Yesterday evening, units were alerted for a collision with entrapment on Chicamuxen Road near Stump Neck Road. Rescue Squad 8, Engine 8-2, and Paramedic Ambulance 8 responded. Engine 21-1 arrived and confirmed a vehicle on its side with one occupant trapped in the vehicle. Rescue Squad 8 arrived and stabilized the vehicle, then extricated the patient. Rescue Squad 7 (Potomac Heights VFD) was on the scene and assisted with the extrication. BC20 (NDWFD) was the incident commander.
