| Last night, our crews responded to two separate collisions simultaneously that both required helicopter transport. First, the station was alerted to Chicamuxen Road near Charlie Bill’s place for a single vehicle collision. Engine 8-2, PA-8, and Chief 8B responded. Crews arrived and found a single occupant with traumatic injuries. A helicopter was used for transport to a trauma center.
About 5 minutes after this incident was dispatched, we were alerted for another collision on Port Tobacco Road near Neva Jane Place. Engine 8-3 and Duty Officer 8 responded. Units arrived to find another single vehicle collision with a single occupant with traumatic injuries. Another helicopter was called for transport to a trauma center.
Just over an hour before these two incidents, Engine 8-3 and Tanker 8 responded on an appliance malfunction in Company 1’s area. Both units were cancelled while responding. |
