Surface Water Rescue Team Alerted for a Vehicle in the Nanjemoy Creek

Yesterday afternoon, the Surface Water Rescue team was alerted for a vehicle in the Nanjemoy Creek at the end of Friendship Acres Road. Our team deployed a boat and rescue swimmer to check the interior of the vehicle and surrounding area. The vehicle was confirmed to be unoccupied. The crew then assisted with the winching operation to get the vehicle back to shore.
