Collision on Port Tobacco Road near Durham Pointe Place

On Thursday evening, our crew was alerted to a collision on Port Tobacco Road near Durham Pointe Place. Rescue Squad 8 and PA8 responded. Upon arrival, the squad located a single vehicle collision with an occupant trapped. Engine 83 responded to assist. The roof was removed from the vehicle to gain access to the occupant. He was then transported to an area trauma center by PA8.

Upon return to the station, our crew resumed the regularly scheduled extrication training for the week.
