Yesterday, Company 8 was alerted for an outside fire. Chief 8A arrived quickly and found that an outside fire had extended and two sheds were involved. He called for additional resources. Brush 8-4, Tanker 8, Rescue Squad 8, Engine 21-1 (NDW Stump Neck), and Truck 20 (NDW- Indian Head) operated on the scene to extinguish and overhaul the fire. As a reminder, if you plan a controlled burn, please ensure you have an adequate water source close to the fire and don’t leave the fire unattended.
