| Late last night, our crews were alerted to a collision on Chicamuxen Road near Heritage Knolls Place. Crews were cleared quickly as the collision was determined to cause no injuries.
A few minutes later, crews were alerted to the same location for another collision. A separate collision had occurred, and a contributing factor was the remnants of the first collision with law enforcement still on the scene. An occupant of the vehicle was transported by helicopter to a local trauma center for evaluation.
Please take note of the Maryland Move Over law. This is designed to protect our first responders and Highway workers. Slowing down near roadway incidents is imperative for everyone’s safety. |
