Yesterday afternoon, crews were alerted for a collision with entrapment on Port Tobacco Road near Chestnut Hills Place. RS8, Engine 82, PA8, Chief 8A, Chief 8B, Rescue Engine 1 (LaPlata), Rescue Engine 4 (Nanjemoy), Engine 211( NDW), and numerous other transport units responded. Units arrived to find a head-on collision with entrapment. RE1 began working on the passenger side of the vehicle while RS8 was working on the driver side. The units removed the doors then worked together to remove the roof. The driver was then removed from the vehicle and prepared for transport. RE4 assisted on the scene. E211 established the landing zone. Four patients were transported to area trauma centers (2 by helicopter, 2 by ground). Chief 8A held the command.P
